Core evaluation criteria

• Vehicle and protocol coverage: model years, makes, systems, OBD protocols, OEM functions and documented exclusions.
• Diagnostic capability: code access, live data, active tests, adaptations, coding, topology and guided procedures.
• Accuracy and workflow: measurement range, refresh rate, interface clarity, report handling and practical setup.
• Safety and physical fit: electrical protection, load ratings, shop requirements, clearances and documented use limits.
• Ownership: updates, subscriptions, warranty, support, parts, accessories and long-term value.
